How can I check a patient's/client's eligibility within the ApexEDI portal?
Here's how to check a patient's/client's insurance eligibility within the ApexEDI
1. To check eligibility, please click on the ''Eligibility'' tab.
2. You will see your patient's/client's list.
3. This section displays the record of past eligibility checks. You can simply recheck the patient's/client's eligibility using the submit button. You can also easily edit or delete the request. Note:
4. On the right side, fill out the patient's/client's information and click on ''Submit & Save''. This will run the eligibility check in real-time.
Note: Once an eligibility request is submitted, there is a section for the Co-Pay, Deductible, Limitations, Out of Pocket, Co-Insurance, and overall benefit coverage. As long as you have the patient information prior to the visit, you will be able to check the co-pay and more prior to the first appointment.
