How do I check the claim status in the ApexEDI portal?

The clinician can find the status of the claim in three areas within the ApexEDI portal. To do this, first, login to your ApexEDI portal and access the ''Claims'' tab:
1. Normally within 24 to 48 hours of submitting a claim, the insurance company will send a response notifying the clinician if the claim has been accepted or rejected into adjudication. If it was rejected,  the clinician will be notified why. The clinician can then fix the claim and resubmit if desired. The clinician can b¿view this on the ''Insurance Response'' tab.

2. If the clinician is enrolled to receive their ERA's on the Apex website they can view them on the Electronic EOB's tab.

3. In the ''Claim Status'', the clinician can view the history of the claim from beginning to end.
