How are the rating scales added up?

Premium clinicians can send rating scales to patients/clients. Patients/clients can complete and submit the rating scales directly through the platform. The rating scale results will be displayed in Charts>Entries>All Entries.

In the diagram below of the PHQ-9 rating scale, all four options have some values assigned to it i.e., (Not At all : 0, Several Days: 1, More Than Half the Days: 2, Nearly Every Day : 3). When the patient selects an option, the value related to that option is stored and added to the total value.

In the image below, it can be seen that if a patient selects all the 'Several days' option, then the value assigned to that option i.e., 1 is added to the total value (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 9). The total score becomes 9. The same principle applies when any number of options are chosen individually or if several options are chosen across the board: the value of each field that is chosen will be added to the total value.

The total value for the answers chosen can be seen below.
