Can I bill a patient/client and link a note to it with a different date than the one I created the note on?

In the Charts>Entries>Compose Note section, "Date to display in chart" will allow you to choose the date that you wish to display in the chart, allowing you to bill and link the note to a different entry on your calendar. 

For this example, we have composed a new note and have chosen the date ''11/04/2018'' in the ''Link to an appointment'' drop-down. This will link the note to the date selected. 1. If you want to change the date on which the note is created, you will need to select a different date in the "Date to display in chart" option. We have chosen ''11/05/2018'' for this example.

2. After the note is signed, the date that you had selected in the ''Date to display in chart'' field will be displayed.

3. Your note will be linked to the appointment on the date that you had selected in the ''Link to appointment'' option.

This way you can bill a patient/client and link a note to it with a different date than you created the note on.
