How do I reset my passphrase?

If you need to reset your passphrase, follow the steps below.

1. Once inside the DrFirst interface, click on the three-striped menu icon and select "Utilities."

2. Click on "Token Management."

3. You will see an EPCS GOLD dashboard. Click on "Forgot Passphrase" within the "Sign in" box. Please note: If your account is under the 15-minute lockout, you cannot reset your passphrase until the lockout is complete.

4.) Enter your NPI and Credentials ID from the Symantec VIP Access app and then enter the EPCS registered email with the OTP token. Please note the Credential ID can be found on the app. It's an alphanumeric code that begins with "SYMC."

5.) You will now receive a "Prescriber reset passphrase notification" email. Once you click the "Reset Passphrase" link, you will be prompted to re-verify the same information just inputted. Finally, it will prompt you with the security question that you originally created during EPCS enrollment, and you have to provide your security answer(don't forget that this is case-sensitive). Once this is complete, you will be able to reset your passphrase.

Note: your passphrase can only be reset by correctly answering your security question.
