How can I enable invoice reminders?

Here's how to enable invoice reminders to go out for both patients/clients and any family members that have been added to the chart:

Note: You must have the patient or client’s consent to have a reminder sent via regular email.

1. Click on ''Practice''.

2. Click on ''Settings''.

3. Under the ''Invoices'' section, click on the checkbox for ''Send auto-reminder on due date for invoices not paid in full.''.

Your selection will be automatically saved.

4. To ensure that the patient/client receives these notifications, click on ''Billing'' and then on ''Settings''. 

5. Scroll down to the ''Invoices'' section and click on the checkbox next to ''Send auto-reminder on due date for invoices not paid in full.''

5. Next, click on ''Profile''. 

6. Scroll down to the ''Portal Permissions'' section and ensure that the ''Invoices'' permission is turned on.

6. Click on ''Save''. 

7. To ensure that a family member receives these notifications, click on the ''Family Info'' tab. 

8. Click on the family member's name. 

9. Scroll down to the ''Portal Permissions'' section and ensure that the ''Patient's/Client's Invoices'' permission is turned on. 

10. Click on ''Save''.
