When creating an invoice, why is the "Create+Send" button grayed out?
When creating an invoice on a patient's/ client's chart, you may notice the ''Create+Send'' button grayed out. When this happens, it could be due to one of the reasons below:
1. The patient or client does not have an active portal account:
A patient/ client must have an active portal to be able to send an invoice. If you have already sent an invitation, advise the patient/ client to complete the process. If the patient/ client has not been invited, you can send an invitation to create a portal account on the ''Profile'' section situated under the "Optional Info" header. 2. The ''Invoices'' permission is not turned on for the patient/ client in the "profile" section:
The ''Invoices'' permission must be turned on for the patient/ client under ''Portal Permissions'' in the ''Profile" section of their chart. To enable this, click the corresponding checkbox.
- Then click "Save" at the bottom of the page to update the portal permission.
