How do I delete an invoice?
There are two ways to delete an invoice that has been created on a patient's/client's chart. To learn more about both, read on below:
From within a patient's/client's chart
1. Go into a patient's/client's chart through the ''Shortcuts'' menu on the home page by selecting ''View billing'' from the ''Go to'' dropdown menu, as shown below:
2. Click on ''Invoice Tracker''.
3. Click on the dropdown arrow next to the invoice that you would like to delete and select ''Delete''. Note: If the invoice has been sent to the patient/client portal, it will also be deleted from the patient's/client's portal.
You can also click on the invoice number to display the ''Invoice Preview'' screen and select ''Delete''.
From the ''Financial>Financial Summary>Invoice Tracker'' section
1. Click on "Financial".
2. On the 'Invoice Tracker'' section, locate the invoice that you'd like to delete or click on the ''Show All'' dropdown to select a specific patient/client.
3. Click on the dropdown arrow next to the invoice that you'd like to delete and select ''Delete''. Note: If the invoice has been sent to the patient/client portal, it will also be deleted from the patient's/client's portal.
Here you can also click on the invoice number to display the ''Invoice Preview'' screen and select ''Delete''.
