E-Lab Setup Process Timelines

The e-lab setup process is entirely dependent on the lab in question responding to Change Healthcare's request for approval. As such, providing firm timelines is not possible, however here is what you can expect, on average:

1. Luminello submits your intake form to Change Healthcare. Click here to see how to fill out your intake form.

2. Change Healthcare reviews the intake form and confirms that it's correct.  Estimated time for completion: 1-2 business days.

3. Change Healthcare submits a request to your lab(s) for approval.  Estimated time for completion: Up to 90 days. (Note: If the lab has not responded within 90 days, Change Healthcare will cancel the process and the request must be re-submitted.)

4. Once approved, a test order is requested by Change Healthcare which Luminello sends on your behalf to your lab(s) as part of the setup process. The lab(s) will then return a result. Estimated time for completion: 7-14 days

5. When the final test order has been completed, you can ''Go Live'' and start sending orders to your lab(s).
