DOSESPOT: Why am I receiving the transmission error "Errors validating against Surescripts"?

When trying to electronically send a medication, you may see a transmission error named "Errors validating against Surescripts". Please follow these steps to resolve this:

1. Please check to see if the patient's/client's personal information is correct. Once you are in the patient's/client's chart, click on "Profile" and then "Demographics" from the drop-down menu. 

2. Review all of the patient's/client's info and make sure the address and zip code are entered correctly (Please note that the zip code can only be 5 or 9 numbers).
