What's the difference between a super admin assistant and a super admin clinician?

"Super Administrators," be it clinicians or assistants, have owner-level access, yet there are a few differences to be noted. Read on below to find out what these are:

Super admin clinicians:

  • Are group clinicians who have owner-level access.
  • They have all functionality a normal group clinician can have as well as the functionality that the group owner has, in that they:
  • Have access to the Owner-Level menu where they can manage the practice.
  • Have access to the "Other Users" menu to manage other clinicians.
  • They are automatically assigned to all group clinicians.

They are, however, governed by rules that apply to group clinicians, which are:

  • They need to have licenses verified and cannot operate without a license.
  • They need to be assigned to a chart to interact with a patient.
  • They need to be assigned to a chart to view chart information.

Super admin assistants:

  • Are assistants who have owner-level access.
  • They can have all functionality a normal assistant can have as well as the functionality that the group owner has in that they have:
  • Access to the Owner Level menu where they can manage the practice.
  • Assistants already have access to the "Other users" menu regarding the " Other users " menu.
  • They are automatically assigned to all clinicians in the group and can manage all clinicians and their linked patients.

Note: Group owners can grant or revoke any clinicians and super admin features via permissions at any stage.
