How can I generate an invoice automatically when signing a note?

The auto-invoicing feature will help reduce the manual work required when billing patients/clients. Read on to learn how to generate an invoice automatically when signing a note: 

Note: This feature is available to premium subscribers. 

1. The "Auto-generate invoice" checkbox will appear right below "Record billing info" while composing a note. Clicking this checkbox will automatically generate an invoice based on the billing/payment information entered in the note once it's signed.

2. A success notification will appear after signing your note, indicating that an invoice was generated successfully. All invoices that are automatically generated using this feature will be sent to the patients' portals.

3. You can locate the recently generated invoice in the ''Billing'' tab on the patient's, under "All Transactions."

4. On the "Invoice Tracker."

If you attempt to generate an invoice for $0.00 from this section, you will see a warning asking you to confirm if this is correct. Click on "Yes, sign" to proceed.

The default term for auto-generated invoices will be pulled from your default invoice settings.
