What do the question types in the form builder look like?
Here's what each question type in the form builder looks like.
1. Checkbox (all forms): This allows more than one answer choice to be picked.
2. Multiple choice (all forms): (Also known as "radio buttons") allows only one answer to be picked.
3. Dropdown (all forms): Allows for one answer to be picked from a pick list. It's often used when you have many answer choices and don't want to clutter your form by showing all of them.
4. Free text (all forms): Offers a blank box for open-ended text entries.
5. Rating scale (all forms): A Likert scale.
6. Insert free text (no question) (all forms): This is often used in administrative forms (but could be used in any form/template) when you want to display a text.
7. Matrix (single choice): For asking multiple questions at once. Only one choice is allowed. 8. Matrix (multiple choice): For asking multiple questions at once. More than one choice is allowed.
8. Section (all forms): This allows you to bundle question types within individual sections, giving the form more hierarchy. First, you name the section, then drop question types in that section.
Note: For best visibility on mobile devices, your answer choices should only take up one column.
