Groups FAQs

Below are questions we've regularly been asked regarding Groups. This list will continuously be updated as more questions, features, and requests come to the fore.

Current Functionality

Q: How do I make the switch from a solo practice to a group practice?

A: If you are currently a solo practitioner and wish to activate a group practice, read this article to find out more about the process.

Q: How do I add a clinician to my practice?

A: As Group Owner, you will be able to add a clinician by sending them an invitation under the "Owner" tab in the navigational panel.

Q: Will I be able to manage each clinician's charts from the owner's account?

A: You will have the ability to assign charts to your clinicians, select specific roles and edit their permissions to grant them access to specific areas of the group.

Q: If I work for two different practices in Luminello, will I need to create two different accounts under groups?

A: Yes, if you are working for two different groups, you will need to have two separate accounts in Luminello.

Q: Can my group members get a free trial?

A: If the owner of the group is on a free trial, the entire group is eligible for the free trial until the group owner's trial expires. We are only able to offer one lifetime free trial per group practice.

Q: What would be the new pricing structure for groups?

A: It will be the same rate per group licensed clinician as is currently published on our Pricing Page. So, for example, two clinicians on the e-Rx lite plan at $89/month would be $178/month.

Q: We need to add new users to our team. How will that be billed?

A: We'll apply a one-time, pro-rated charge to your credit card to cover your invitee's account for the remainder of the current billing period.

Q: How does billing work in a group account?

A:  For billing, "current balance" will display the balance for the whole group. Billing history will show for the entire group; however, additional information has been added to show which clinician the billing entry belongs to. For this reason, payments and statement generation will only be allowed if a single clinician is selected from the filter. The same functionality has been applied to invoices as clinicians create invoices individually and not for all billing transactions in a group.

Q: Can we mix and match licenses?

A: Yes. For example, if there are two therapists and five prescribers in your group, you can have two licenses on therapist plans and five on prescriber plans.

Q: Do we have to pay for non-licensed clinicians, like coaches or medical technicians?

A: It depends on which role you wish for them to have within Luminello. If you want them to have an administrative role, then no. If you want them to have a clinician role, then yes.

Q: Do we have to pay for non-prescriber trainees?

A: No, psychological assistants and interns, therapy interns, etc., are free while in an accredited training program, with valid proof of training status. (Prescriber trainees get 50% off prescriber plans.)

Q: Do we have to pay for non-clinical administrative assistants?

A: No!  Practice managers, billers, and administrative assistants are free.
