How do I set up e-prescribing cross-coverage in my group?

As a group owner, you may want to give clinicians in your group access to each other's charts for e-Rx purposes. To accomplish this, you can change the roles of your clinicians depending on the coverage that is needed.

NB: The e-Rx option is only available to users on the Prescriber plans, hence this feature will not be accessible to individuals with the free "Essentials" and "Therapist Unlimited" plans, regardless of their role within the group.

Here's how to adjust your clinician's roles.

Now, let's review how each role type will help you set up e-prescribing cross-coverage in your group:

Clinician: You can assign charts to any prescriber in your group with this role. The prescriber to whom the chart is assigned will be able to e-prescribe and access other areas of the charts based on the permissions set for them. This is useful in cases where one clinician is on an emergency or medical leave as well as to set up vacation coverage.

Manager: You can assign any clinician in your group to users with the ''Manager'' role. Managers can access their clinician's charts without having to assign the charts to them.

Super Admin: Super admins will be able to access the account of every clinician in your group including all charts, and access specific sections based on the permissions set for them. Super admins can also be granted access to the owner's settings and can access all clinicians' charts without having to assign them.
