How do I enter a test code on an e-lab order?

To enter a test code on an e-lab order, please follow these steps: 

1. Go to Charts>Labs>Send E-Labs.

2. You have two ways to search:

• Option A: Type in the test code # in the box.

3. On the search field, only enter the numeric code of the test, if you happen to have memorized it. 

4. In the description box, enter the name of the test.

5. Click on "Search".

6. You can see a list with corresponding results. To select a test code, click on the corresponding checkbox.

7. We highly recommend that you click on the "Use selected & Save to Preferences" button to save you time. 

8. Your selected test code is displayed on the tests list.

• Option B: Click on the search button (binoculars).
