Why Change HealthCare recommends printing and handing the slip to the patient?

1. In the event that the patient gets to the lab and the lab's system is down, Change Healthcare highly recommends that you print and hand the lab slip to the patient. To learn how to print an e-lab order, please click here. 

2. If your patient collects their lab orders out of state, or elsewhere than ordered, clinicians may want to give a copy of the order (print of the electronic one) to their patients and have them give it to the PSC so they can ensure they receive the correct result via the correct requisition #.
