What is the RxFill feature?

The RxFill feature allows pharmacies to indicate whether a prescription has been dispensed, partially dispensed, not dispensed, or transferred. The pharmacist can also add a note to clarify the dispensing stats, especially when the prescription has not been fully dispensed or when it has been transferred.

How to set a default dispense event notification for all your prescriptions?

Here's how to save time by setting a default dispense event notification for all your prescriptions:

1. From the main dashboard, click on ''Charts'' and then on the ''e-Rx Notification'' tab. 

2. Click on the menu button and the on ''Settings''. 

3. Click on ''Preferences''.

4. Click on ''Prescription'', on the ''User'' section.

5. Click on the ''Default Fill Status Requested For Prescriptions'' dropdown and select the desired dispense event notification. Then, scroll down and click on ''Save''.

Note: RxFill is a one-way information message; no response is expected or possible from you as the prescribing provider. Additionally, participation in the RxFill feature is voluntary and many pharmacies have not yet started to provide this feature to providers.
