What's the easiest way to get paid by patients?

Here's how to save time when managing invoicing by setting up the invoice auto-pay feature. With these steps, the payment is automatically made on the patient's credit card based on your date preference. The invoice is updated automatically, and the patients can download the invoice themselves in the portal: 

1. Type in the patient's chart in the ''Shortcuts'' menu, and select ''View billing'' from the ''Go to'' dropdown, as shown below: 

2. Mark all the transactions you'd like to add to the invoice with a checkmark, and click on "I want to...">Invoice>Create New:

4. Choose when to bill the patient/client in the "Term" section. From here, you can choose if you'd like the invoice due on the 1st day of next month:

5. Click on "Create + Send": 

6. The new invoice will show under the "Invoice Tracker" tab with the due date. The patient will be able to make a payment through the portal, provided that a credit card has been added to the chart.
