How can I see which patients can request their chart data in a roster export?

You can see which patients can request their chart data in a roster export. There are certain rules applicable to show which patients can request their chart data when you export your roster on Charts>Export to CSV in the ''Patient Exempt?'', ''All Invitees Exempt?'' and ''Global PHI Settings'' columns. Read on to learn more:

The ''Patient Exempt'' column will display the following based on the chart's status:

  • If it's a child chart, the report will display ''N/A''.
  • If an adolescent or adult chart has not been invited to the portal, the report will display ''Not invited to portal''.
  • If the chart has been invited to the portal (including archived charts and those in the ''Inactive'' status) and the chart is not configured to allow 3rd party exports, the report will display ''Yes''.
  • If the chart has been invited to the portal (including archived charts and those in the ''Inactive'' status) and the chart is configured to allow 3rd party exports, the report will display ''No''.

The ''All Invitees Exempt?'' column will display the following based on the chart's invitees:

  • If there are no invitees to the chart, the report will display ''N/A''.
  • If the chart has invitees, but no invitee has been configured to allow 3rd party exports, the report will display ''Yes''.
  • If the chart has invitees, any of the invitees have been configured to allow 3rd party exports, the report will display ''No''.

The ''Global PHI Settings'' column will display the following based on the practice-wide setting for PHI exports:

  • If the practice-wide settings to allow PHI exports have been set to ''Allowed'' the report will display ''Allowed based on chart configuration''.
  • If the practice-wide setting to allow PHI exports has been set to ''Not Allowed'' the report will display ''Disabled for all charts''.
