What is the "Layout" tab for in the form builder?

The "Layout" was designed to grant you more control over the visual part of your custom forms. Read on to learn more:

1. In every question, you will find a "Layout" section, where different options will display (depending on the question type).

Note: We recommend creating a dummy form to test all the "Layout" settings.

2. In the "Visibility" drop-down, you can choose to display the question "collapsed" or "expanded." The "Default" option will always display a question in the "expanded" mode.

3. In the "Title location" drop-down, you can choose the position where you want to display the question title in the form. The "Default" option will always display the question at the "top."

4. In the "Description location" drop-down, you can choose where to display the description text, if you added any. The "Default" option always displays a question under the form's title, similar to the ''under title'' option.

5. In the "Indent" section, you can increase or decrease the form's indentation.

6. You can control the width for a question under "Width," "Min width," and "Max width."

7. In the "Column count" section, you can increase or decrease the number of columns displayed.

8. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Or...

8. Click "Apply" to continue working on the question settings.
