How do I bulk export my practice data?

Any practice owner can generate an export of her/his practice data. This export comes in a .zip file and includes the following:

  • Patient notes (in .pdf format)
  • Practice-wide financial summary (in .csv format)
  • Patient demographic info
  • Patient diagnosis
  • Patient insurance card info
  • Downloaded labs that have been added to the chart
  • Messages that have been added to the chart
  • Rating scales and questionnaire responses that have been added to the chart

Per HIPAA regulations, once our Business Associate Agreement is terminated with you (30 days after you cancel your account, or it goes into read-only mode), we are required to delete your ENTIRE account. Therefore, review your practice exports before then for accuracy. Should you have any concerns, please contact us immediately. Once your account has been deleted, there is no way to retrieve your data.

Read on to learn how to export your practice data:

  1. From the main dashboard, click on "Practice.''

  2. Click on the ''Practice'' tab and then on ''My Downloads."

  3. Click on the "Practice Export" button to initiate the export process.

    The time required to generate the export depends on the size of the practice, including the number of notes, charts, or financial entries, and may take a few hours.

  4. While the export is generating, the button will display "Generating Export," and you will see the filename listed with the status "Generating."

  5. Upon completion, the status will update to "Ready for Download" and you can click on the file name to download your export.
