Help! I can't add my patient's lab results to the chart

Due to recent changes in how selected labs are transmitting lab results, certain lab results may not generate notifications. We are aware of the issue and actively investigating potential solutions.

In those cases, you can download e-lab results directly from Change Healthcare and add them to your chart. Read on to learn how:

1. While on the patient's chart, click on "Labs," and then on "E-results & other info."

2. Next, click on "Reports." 

3. The e-lab results that available for the patient will be displayed. You can double-click on the report you wish you review and download. 

4. The report will be displayed on your screen. Click on the "Download" icon shown below to download the file.

5. Once your e-lab report is downloaded, you can upload it to your chart entries. Click on the "I want to..." drop-down, go to "Upload," and then "Lab."

6. Next, choose the recently downloaded lab result from your computer files, and click on "Open."

7. The lab results will be uploaded to the chart's dashboard. To add this entry to the chart, click on "Add to chart" from the drop-down.
