Bill for the patient's/client's co-pay while the claim is being processed

Adjust the patient's/client's invoice settings
It is important to adjust the patient's/client's invoice settings so that they can quickly see how much they owe in their portal account.
- While on a patient's/client's Billing "Settings" section, check the "Portal: show the balance due from invoices" box, located under "Invoices."
Note: To adjust this setting practice-wide, check out this article.
Enable auto-pay
If you are signed up for credit card processing, you can enable auto-pay for individual patients/clients, or practice-wide.
